Traumatic events from our past often inform how we live in the present. If you’re feeling stuck in old stories that are holding you back, counselling can help you develop personal insight, integrate your past with your present, increase inner awareness and self-compassion, and empower you to redefine your future.

In the mirror of relationships, we sometimes catch a glimpse of unconscious patterns that are ingrained or inherited, or wounds from our childhood that influence how we show up in relationships. Maybe you want to parent differently than you were parented but don’t know where to start, or maybe you’re having the same fight over and over with your partner, or repeatedly choosing the wrong person. We will work to heal your relational wounds and transform generational patterns so you can develop more intentional expressions of love and connection in your life, your relationships and in your parenting.

Many youth are struggling with increasing rates of anxiety and depression, and decreased capacity for focus and attention. Counselling can provide a non-judgemental safe space to be yourself, learn healty relationships wtih social media and screens, explore self-expression, develop strengths and unique gifts, and learn skills and tools to build social-emotional resilience that set up kids and teens for a brighter future.

Life transitions are inherently destabilizing, whether it’s becoming a parent, the loss of a loved one, losing a job or relationship or experiencing a life changing accident. I am here to listen and hold compassionate space for you, as long as it takes, because grief does not follow a linear trajectory. I am here to support you to integrate these experiences and find meaning, as you journey forward.

Chronic pain and medical complications can have a significant impact on your quality of life. I am passionate about supporting families and individuals on these difficult journeys, while guiding them towards post-traumatic growth, connection, self-compassion and resilience.
